Project Description
Shirley found me through her VA. Shirley’s book was coming out in a few months, and she wanted a website for pre-sales. Her book has since been released, and she is using her website as a blog and promoting her book. She had an old website that was inaccessible to her and we needed to move the information into a new website platform.
She is a pleasure to work with and loves leaving the tech to us. We created a WordPress website that her VA keeps updated. We trained her VA on how to use the website. She also opted for adding the ADA Compliance tools so that her website is more accessible for all people.
“When a publisher picked up the historical novel I’d worked on for ten years, I was elated. I could imagine my book’s cover featured on the website I’d built well in advance. It was “Go time!” Suddenly, though, my website designer closed her business. It’s well known that transferring a site from one webmaster to another is challenging. That was especially true because some facets of my soon-to-be-defunct website were intertwined with that of my former associate. I am not tech-savvy; I needed help and had no idea who to call.
A longtime friend interviewed potential website managers. She liked what she heard from Dotty of PREMIUM WEBSITES. After an information-sharing session, Dotty immediately began working on my behalf. I breathed a sigh of relief. But within days, a family member was diagnosed with a serious health condition. Our world turned upside down. Dotty went above and beyond, working with my friend who stepped in to deal with details. She advised us and generously supported me, taking unavoidable delays in stride. With grace and expertise, Dotty untangled the knots, transferred my blog, and incorporated features needed in the publication of my novel. I have received many compliments. My website is beautiful. I can’t thank Dotty enough.”
