I am always looking for time saving ideas. It occurred to me that when I registered for Clip Marks there was an application that connects it to Twitter. Whenever I find something useful on the Internet I can ClipMark it and then share it with Twitter - then the next step is to connect my Twitter account to my Facebook account with the Facebook application that is in Twitter. Now whenever I ClipMark something it gets posted in ClipMark, Twitter, and Facebook. This means that as I browse the Internet I am furthering my social networking without even thinking about it - what a deal. I am going to be looking for ways to further the circle of social networking sites that are in the loop.

I have been using LinkedIn for about 4 months. At first I was not too excited - but I did not get the big picture at that time. Now LinkedIn has become an actual resource in my business. It provides so many things like:
Ability to meet new people that your contacts already know
Ability to promote yourself and/or business to all other LinkedIn users
Ability to get business related questions answered
Ability to show your expertise by answering other peoples questions
For those of you that have not completed your profiles you should read this post: Optimize Your LinkedIn Profile This post gives several ideas about completing your profile.
The LinkedIn Questions feature is a great benefit for members. Here is an example of how to use the Questions feature: In Praise of LinkedIn’s Questions Feature - I have always received good input and have made new connections from the Questions feature.

Are you using Video yet? If you are not you should be. I am just starting to incorporate video into my marketing. I uploaded my first video to YouTube in February. The one drawback to video is that once you have filmed and edited your video, then you have to upload it and write a description and tags over and over again. I HUGE time waster. Depending on the size of the video and your Internet connection it could take well over 10 minutes per video upload - and there are so many different places to upload your video. I just found a free tool for uploading videos once then posting it to 14 different video sites. The tool is TubeMogul.com
As I said it is free to use - it dose take a while the first time because you have to have an account at each different site. However once you have entered the password information TubeMogul saves it which makes future posting a breeze.
Tube Mogul also tracks the views of your videos so you can see where the views are coming from and how many different times they get viewed. You can also track other peoples videos (competition?). I have found other paid services that will submit to more sites, but for free - what the heck - why not give it a try!
Here are a few other articles on TubeMogul from the sphere.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce my clients to the concept of promoting your own website to bring in new customers and revenue. Relying on Search Engine Optimization only is not a good idea.
